My Satellite Setup

hi to all,

anybody who could give me an idea which software is best for satellite tv recording? thanks in advance.:)
 
Not sure I really understand what you are asking, do you have a TV card in your PC?

i still don't have a video capture card. could you recommend a good capture card and a good software to record into dvd format?
 
Not really too in to this, but most video capture cards come with their own software, the Hauppauge has some quite useful facilities.
 
I have a digital satellite receiver and i want to record somes of its shows in a certain channel into my pc. what software & hardware do i need to make it happen. thanks.

well,
i think it would be best to get

1) a DVB card or USB box (around Rs.3500-5000) by which you can directly watch and record satellite programs on ur Pc.

2) a TV Capture card like Dazzle DVC 90 (Rs.4500) or Pinnacle AV/DV (Rs.8500) by which you can record into ur PC using ur current satellite receiver
