Satlink WS-6906 add satellite

Hi guys, just came across this forum and hoping one of you can help. Just purchased a Satlink WS-6906 and it's missing a few satellites in the lists. Can someone explain exactly how to add for example Astra 1N to the meter? Many thanks for any help. Dan.

Quite easy helidan,welcome to the forum....

Switch the unit on.
Press Menu button,press right button , the next menu should have at the top of the list "add satellite".Press ok, name the satellite you want to add,select universal on the lnb type,select menu to exit. Then go back to the menu with the add satellite on it, move down once to edit satellite and find the satellite you named before. You can do an auto scan on your added satellite to find transponders and add extras later. Selecting an NIT search will let you add individual transponder frequencies to your new satellite too.

Good morning, I had a play around with the meter last night and after following your instructions managed to get the additional satellites added no problem. Many thanks for the advice and quick response! Dan.

Hi Paul, Thanks for the add satellite instructions just followed them and added Astra 28.2 meter working fine.

Hi Ed, you might need to do an auto scan on 28.2 as that data for astra 28.2 might have some transponder frequencies out of date. An auto scan on the 6906 will find all channels FTA on 28.2.
