That was a bargain, even with the fault.

I think mine has lost the LCD screen a few times, but I put it down to the cold temperatures I was working in. She started up again after powering down a couple of times.

I would (also) suggest doing a software update before sending it back, otherwise I might be interested in buying her off you.

hi everyone in need of a bit of advice with this satlook
what down load software do ineed to use to do a update currently
on version 2.24 lcd still not working im in a bit of a dilemna
decided to return to seller off ebay but am a bit worried about reply
on the pictures(in ebay)you can see the lcd is working ive recieved the meter
powered it up and no lcd readout 4 hrs later turned back on and lcd
working then changed battery has it was gone(informed of this after i brought,said i would purchase battery)in the reply the guy said he is happy to refund but doesnt believe the meter is faulty and states at end
happy to recieve meter has delivered
first purchase off ebay i recieved it with lcd no working
where do i stand if i send it back the lcd will still not be working unless
it starts to work again could i end up with no meter and no refund

would appreciate any advice guys and what would you do in my position

The latest software update is on the Emitor site, it isn't that recent, as it isn't the latest model, but may make a difference. You can use the meter without the LCD panel working, but you need to memorise the functions.

Did you pay by paypal? If you did, then you should have buyer protection and if you send it back by recorded delivery, then should the seller not refund the money, you can claim back from paypal.
