Save a tm5402 ??

i own an old technomate tm5402 which is out of order (cause a fail update)
is there a jtag method ? or anYthing else to reanimate it ?

Which version is it (Mk 1) ?
 

Just Sharing This - How to bring your tm5402hd back to life

Dead TM5402HD receiver this may bring it back to life:- Turn the TM 5402 'Off' using the power switch on the rear of the receiver... then press and hold down the 'Menu' button on the front of the receiver as you switch the TM 5402 back 'On' using the power switch on the rear of the receiver...

i have try the method but there is nothing else than red del blinking !!!!
no on screen menu or anything ???

That proves that the receiver is still alive you will need to try this method several times for it to work,
Have you loaded a USB stick with a channel list on it then insert this USB stick in your receiver so that the receiver can pick up on it ? there must be nothing else on the USB stick,
Scroll through the list below & load the latest one.

i took an usb stick , formated it in fat32 , put inside latest firmware issue (TM-5402HDCI_M1_142_09-07-2014.stb) and nothing else .
do i have to put zip version ?
does power button is menu button ?
there is only 3 buttons ch+ ch- power .
