My Satellite Setup
1m dish,and 1.1m dish,samsung hd receivers(viasat).3sky box's and sky dish's,1 sky italia.

hi could do with some info please,ive got a viasatHD box at the moment it is running two tv's by scart lead i want to run it though another tv but there is only two scart points on the back of the viasat box,there is no aerial point on box or audio!
ive been told that scart senders etc are not that good..!? to be fair i could do with running an aerial to the tv as it is so far away!so would need somethin like a scart to aerial cable(can you get them!?)but i would still then have the prob of only haveing two scart out puts on back of box..!!
it would need to be an aerial cable i could plug in to the scart tho as i would have to make it up my self because it would have to be a good 25-30M long!! can it be done in this way? or as anyone got any ideas i could try out?:confused:

Or feed into an old video recorder that has RF out
 
If you're going to use an RF modulator, try the Proception promod1, I used a couple the other week and they are an extremely well built unit with very clean modulated signal. The output was something like 79db, so enough to split eight ways.

ive got a sky box sitting round not doing anything,could try that!???
 
Wouldn't work I'm afraid.

Although the $ly boxes have an RF modulator it's only for the programmes it receives. There is no facility (this side of extensive and difficult rewiring) for it to use an external video source.

even tho viasat denmark say's its HD it's not! it only puts out SD!it has even got HD channels but again they are shown in SD!you even need a HD box!but its still SD!(in my room i can get all the HD channels on a SD tv!)
funny!i think some of the channels on viasat sweden are HD tho!ive got my viasat running in my pub so its upstairs then it runs two tv's down stairs,so it was better for me to just run scart as one tv is just below the box and ive got a 20M scart running the other one,the pic's are bang on,but like i say could do with linking up to another tv!
 
Sorry forthe punt didnt realise that, Then as said above an RF modulator will suffice
