Dish might be marginal in size for those north of the border. But great buy for those down south who are having troubles with terrestrial freeview.

No satellite stuff for the moment (aside from a 43cm minidish that was on the house already), Samsung SyncMaster T27B550 Smart TV & Monitor, and a few computers...

Looking at the picture, the box looks like it may have a cam slot, assuming that bit on the right-hand side is a flap covering such a slot... :)

I am sick of mainstream retailers like Screwfix, Argos etc. who are incapable of fully describing their products. You never know what interfaces (sockets) there are, they don't even bother to mention if it is HD or if there is a CAM slot and it is rare to get a photo of the back panel so the you can work it out for yourself. If your lucky they give you the make and full model number so that you can check out the manufacturers web site, but that is rare.

Retailers don't know how to "retail", it is pathetic.

For that sort of money, I wouldn't expect it'll have a CI slot or full connectivity. Not sure of the quality ...but it will do what it says on the tin.

That is definitely true of Screwfix, I have asked about an item before, and the reply was, "I don't know, we just sell them".

But, you can ( which is what I had to do) ask to see the item before purchasing, in the local branch.

Well, it does come with SCART and phono leads (shown) so it is unlikely to be HD compliant.

And you then could sell them on if you don't use them in the install.

(Not too sure what a 'digital LNB' is though, somat speshal I presume).
