My Satellite Setup
Win7/Firefox
85cm Transparent dish and 3 dual LNB's 13,19,28



One diseqc to PC and Sky Star 2, and a diseqc to
Humax Foxsat HDR
My Location
Fylde Coast in West Lancs
I've now got the Humax Foxsat HDR and am getting used to it.
I've scanned in and can view Freesat on 28E and non Freesat FTA on 28E, but have not tried recording yet.

BUT I've not been able to scan for FTA channels on 13E or 19E.
Its referred to in the Sticky relating to the secret menu but I cant find this procedure in the menu.
Where should I be looking please?

I've still got the fixed dish, the 4into1 diseqc box and the single cable and the Humax replaces the TM 1500

I suspect I may later have to replace the dual 28E lnb with a quad lnb and run a cable direct from lnb to the Humax lnb2 IN to make recording easier.
Does the cable from the diseqc box need to go to lnb1 IN for scanning purposes?
 
Go to Manual Tune then press Red Green Yellow Blue Green Yellow Blue and you are then in the relevant Menus.

First go into Antenna Setting and enable those Satellite you want to appear in any lists, including relevant DiSEqC Settings

Then go back and actually start your Scanning via Manual Tune: If you go back a step too far, you'll have to input the colour sequence again.

Thanks Gordon. I knew what you meant.

I had a problem scanning 19 and 13 because, dopey me, I'd named each sat to Diseqc A in error, forgetting that each LNB was setup A B or C.

Anyway it worked and I'm very pleased with the Humax and the new
LG TV.
