My Satellite Setup
Master Focus 90cm .Gigablue UHD Quad 4K on TM 2600 motor. *Tm 5402 HD M3, *Atemio Nemesis. *Not Used.
My Location
Southern England
The mind boggles when sifting thorough details of receivers. I like Technomate but the Xtrend 9500 is at a low low price just now so I have ordered one. Did think of the Xtrend 1000 but at £100 more was to much for a new toy for now. Waiting to see if! any new boxes come, maybe for Xmas 2016.

Yes but its been a long time since my Dream and Gigablu boxes. Amazing how you forget so much as you get older. I am only assuming I am older as I can't remember.

I have been tempted by this box at the price it is, keep us informed please, about this box.

I was looking at the 9500 but was seduced by the possibility of an extra tuner and plumped for the ET8000. This is my first foray into Linux receivers, and haven't ventured beyond getting CrossEPG working and Oscam reading my aging S-y card but I'm quite pleased with it so far

What img are you running on the box? Open pli, vix?
 
Vix. I opted for OpenVix latest when I ordered. I haven't ventured to flashing images yet.

It arrived on time with UK mail. Just scanning in several sats. Brings back memories. Left the image on the factory default for now, will look to see if its worth updating later.

Get one whilst its dirt cheap, bound to sell out. Well worth the £129.
 
Oscam is the biggest headache, so far I cant get it to work with my vu duo, so I will be holding off until I do get it to work.

Right now enigma2 is being a pain in the rear end.

I know. I am just trying to use Dreanedit, won't connect to the box, unable to create a file even though it asks if you want too.
 
Fed up with all the messing about. I will flog it on Ebay and make do with my 5402 until I find something less time consuming. my desk is cluttered with 2 sat boxes a Virgin box, router, usb hdd, computer/monitor, with cables going everywhere.
