Sky+ HD box (basic package)
DM800HD
Geotrack polar mount
88cm Triax dish
My Location

I have upgraded my Sly box from Sly+ to Sly+HD, it has been installed about three weeks now but I still have no Anytime and a series linked program (Neighbours at 1.45pm on Five 'sad') in my planner never records. I have the BBC Click program series linked and that records no problem.
I have recorded two programs at once to make sure I have made the correct connections and instant record works okay, signal and quality stength are both good.

Is there something else I have to do or should I get in touch with Sly to sort it out?

Have you phoned Sky to Pair your Card with the new box?
 
Tivu, no, if thats the problem I will ring them tonight, the install intructions just said to insert the old card.

AFAIK they still requiring pairing if your sub is for anything other than a Mixes only Standard Def. package.

Happy to sit corrected, if necessary. No harm in phoning Sky anyway, subject to your fiscal position and personal endurance capability!

One other point - is the HD box sufficiently up to date in its EPG Version and O/S firmware?

If not, a Forced Download might help.

I imagine it'll be ok, though.

Edit: Just done a bit of research and your problem is common - pairing should resolve it.

Rang Sly last night and they have paired up the card to the box, noticed that a couple of Anytime programs had downloaded late on so expect the recording issues will have been solved as well.
