Hi all,
I have had a strange problem for most of the football season.
I have a dm500 and a technomate 500 connected to a dish pointing at hotbird the technomate is also connected to a sky dish using a switch from both sats.
The dm 500 works on hotbird but if you change the channel over say four or five times says service not found and signal quality drops to zero, I have had a new cable running from the dish and also a new lnb put on but it still happens the technomate has always run perfect.

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

A problem I see frequently on my 7020. Ive never really got to the bottom of it but I suspect its the disecq signals getting corrupted or weakened by the length of my cable run (around 30m)

Thanks for reply,
What my previous problem was prior to this was I had the dm500 and technomate both setup on hotbird and sky uk same satellite dishes for both using dual lnb and disecq to each box. Both would work on sky and both on hotbird but if say the technomate was on sky and you wanted the dm500 on hotbird this also said service not found but if you changed back to the same sat as the other worked ok.
I changed as i say the lnb and also the disecq but never ressolved this so thats why i thought i could correct it keeping the technomate setup the same and going with a direct feed to the dm500 on hotbird but box does as in my first post.
I have tried a different box incase it was the tuner but this done exactly the same, someone said if i put both boxes on via disecq use disecq 1.1 for one box and disecq 1.2 for the other will that make a difference? as dont want to buy more things when i have just replaced all and no improvement.
Thanks.
