Service scan

Westindieman

And do you have the user manual/handbook so you can set the startrack to do a manual/specific Tp search ?

Regards

Thanks for your help and allowances guys, I do have the manual and I have now photographed the usals page. Model is SRT 2014HD pro, on the system information page is application version -HS v2.12.18, and data version FDU v1.4.

That´s a good start. Using the remote, can you access the system menu and see if you can find software version or other system related information? ( Also look for usals setting, I think we may need that later )

Then goto the how to do manual Tp scan page/side, and follow that procedure for each missing Tp/channel you require.

Hi Skomedal, from what I understand, having re-read this thread a couple of times, there are no specific txp´s or channels that Westindieman wants, just wants to know how to use the system correctly.
The unknown model of the stb is not helping. I think I´ll follow Toppers example and do some research on this stb.

Nice touch with KOS, but Flysat would be better, IMO

Yep, been there a few times, trying to find the op manual from a " safe site ", but with only 2mb download it takes a while!
Glad you have found one my AV has not worked so hard for ages

Note sure I have yet, wish one of these 161Mb download guys would have a look!
Lol, not in Lancashire............................... anyhow the incessant rain would never allow such speeds

Thanks for continued help. I have pictures of the suggested info

and pages from the manual which I have tried to the same results. Maybe I missed something important.

What strikes me with the information above is that the frequency area is set to the Middle East, even more now I suspect, at least some of your services were being provided by IPTV, through the internet.
I therefore ask once again what channels are you wanting to receive with this setup?

I spotted that Middle East bit as well, what other options are available under that option?
Also, when service scanning, rather that service all can you specify tv only " free to air " ?
One other question, how many channels are currently stored in the receiver?
