Setting Dish to Watch Sky

Dear Friends, Thanks for all the wonderful work you are doing. This is my very first post here. I have my satellite dish setted up in my garden towards HotBird 13. Everything is fine. All I want to do is to direct dish towards Sky channels. As I can't see any dish around my garden and area it is very difficult to set it up. I have tried Pace Sky DigiBox receiver on the same dish to the 13 Hotbird direction but don't receive any sky channles instead it says no satellite signals are received. But while in system set up it show that it's receiving signals. Can any one help me please what I need to do to watch sky channles? Many thanks
 
From behind the dish you need to rotate the dish through 15.2 degrees towards the West and lower the elevation very slightly. Of course this is only possible if you have a clear line of sight, i.e. no buildings, fences or trees in the way.
 
Very many thanks for the quick reply much appreciated. Right now I'm using Power Sky digital receiver on 13 HotBird. For sky I'll be using Pace DS430N Sky DigiBox. Sorry for my ignorance as I'm a beginner. While moving/setting up the dish how I'll know that I'm getting the right signals? Do I need to set up Pace receiver in signal test mode or do I need to set any frequency first? For the time being it says no satellite signals are being received. But when I manually give the frequency in adding channels it does find the channels but don't know how to watch them. Sorry for being so messy in question. I hope you'll be able to help me out.

Yes as Rolf correctly spotted that should be East, too much fresh air today
 
Plug in the Pace box then in the menu select the built in meter and rotate the dish until you receive a signal lock.
I am sorry I cannot remember the menu functions as do not use a digibox very often, but there is plenty of information available on the forum on how to do this but it is up to you to read it.

Services - signal test will get you the default channel (11778V).

If you want to use any other transponder, go into the Engineer's Menu (Services - 4 - 0 - 1 - select) and choose Manual tuning; input the parameters of the transponder required.
 
Many thanks to everyone. I'm able to adjust my Sky dish just now. I'm over the moon. I was told that I'll b being charged £40 for changing dish direction by the local install.
