Hi, started a shed project this lunch time, I managed to get another door from eBay and picked it up yesterday, we have arranged an open day for the summer house, next Saturday , as some of you will know, my old shed is now part of the new SH,

Most of my tools are now in the green house, and once the SH is finished I would have no where to store the rest of them,

I did not want to lose any more garden, so I am installing it at the side of the house, its only a quick project and will be finished tomorrow apart from a window ive bought from ebay and cant collect until Saturday, anyhow this is what I have achieved this afternoon, 10pm finish then half hour watering the garden, ive not had a beer for 4 months until tonight, 2 left from a 4 pack heaven :D

I'd love to build a shed from scratch, but lack the ability to cut wood in a straight line, or to the right length, or at the correct angle... :-rofl2

Its each to his own pal :), I wish I could read/write better/type quicker etc etc etc, but I was late in life wanting to learn this, I wanted to make mend build etc, and that's what ive done from a young age, mending my own bike, going out finding a v bit of wood for a catapult cutting leather for the pouch lol memories,

I hated school and seldom went, and was working nearly full time at 14 mending cars, I could change an engine/clutch/more are less anything by the age of 15, things carried on with cars including welding body work spraying etc,

I then got a good offer training to be a kitchen/bathroom fitter, i travelled the country for about 10 years installing kitchen/bathroom showrooms from start to finish including tiling studded walls whatever you see when you go in home base etc,

I had enough of being away from my family and went self employed working local for a few years now basically making peoples homes looks nice. that nearly my life story  :-lol

Just about finished this just a few bits to do on the other side, ive not gone to town on it, at the end of the day its a shed, ive just made the front look respectable as it can be seen from the road,

Looks good, if you opened up that coal hole hatch, you could have a little escape tunnel too... :D

erm, managed to post in the wrong thread.... :-doh

Thanks 2cv, I was thinking of the bigger picture, altering the stairs that's above it and putting in a door way :D

Direct access to the shed, sounds like a fun idea... :D

Its great how its worked out, you would have to see it to understand properly, but now you walk into the shed then out of the door at the other side into a 6x6 area, I am going to make a little patio area here ive just built a fence and installed it higher for privacy, in this little area is the summer house side door, I will do a video when its all complete :)
