My Satellite Setup
System set up in Kuwait but Lifetime receiver does not work - require help

Can somebody tell me if it is possible to receive Showtime Channels in Istanbul. I am currentky living in Kuwait where I have a showtime subscription.

Do I cancel it or bring my box and card to Turkey with me ?

You will roughly need around 1.50m to receive full 7W including Showtime. But to be 100% sure i'd recommend asking in this thread: _http://www.turkeyforum.com/satforum/showthread.php?t=317049

My Satellite Setup
Covering 30W-105.5E range, two motors, C and Ku band. Various receivers/cards/cams/etc.
My Location
Republic of Georgia
Can't say for Istanbul, but roughly at: 41°59'35.88"N 44° 7'24.57"E - 60cm offset is enough for complete 7W coverage (but afected by heavy rain).

60cm ? That's hard to believe. Since you have a Skystar 2.3, could you make a bandscan like skystar did here ?

As i see you are located in the region of Gori. An interesting place for DXing, especially for fringe C/Ku reception. Since this topic is about Showtime, would you mind to open an extra thread ?
