I assume this refers to the question asked of you in the now closed Thread you started that was about matters relating to Pay Servers - something which is clearly outwith our Forum Rules (Which you agreed to abide by upon Registering)?

This forum logs IP addresses, the IP address that you made the last post from resolved in Norway.

Its not smart talk it just purely stating a fact :D

That says to me you are either using a proxy server or using software to mask your IP address. I'd love to know what your upto?

Lets just point out that when you join a forum you agree to allow the staff to moderate & generally run the forum as they see fit to protect the forum.

We dont have many rules, and we are easy going, however the few rules we do have will be strictly enforced.

If you dont like the way we run this forum then please go and find another one - we wish you well in this case.

The different addresses aren't just because he's using Opera Turbo, are they? hxxp://help.opera.com/Windows/10.20/en/turbo.html

Every forum (or certainly the main ones) has this facility, it's to enable spam control.
 
Only staff can see the IP's

Most of the time we arent interested in them, but if something odd crops up we can check where the post originates from. Its a common spammer tactic to claim to be in the USA but their post originates from Brazil, India or other place - wherever the compromised computer they are using is located.
 
And far and away the vast majority of Spam Registrations are intercepted at square one.

A few escape the first net, but all save the odd one get anywhere near being able to actually Post: Even if they get that far, their efforts remain Hidden from public view until manually jobbed by Staff.

One wonders why they waste their time; The Pron is carp anyway and how many Gucci Bags can a man justify buying?

I take the point, but in this case I'm not convinced that the different addresses mean that he is up to no good. I've just tested with Opera on my phone - I go to a reverse lookup site and it tells me I'm in Norway, not in France. I test it using Opera on my PC - it tells me France. I then turn on Turbo in Opera - it tells me Sweden. I think he's using ordinary Opera functionality and Opera's turbo proxies are bouncing him around as the fancy takes them. I make no judgement about his politeness, however :)

It's just occurred to me that I connect from different countries on a daily basis.... :) I'm kosher, honest!

I actually Moderate in another Forum and had forgotten the IP address tools in the Moderator Control Panel.
 
Speaking of "unable to post". What happened to TenerifeTV? I rather enjoyed reading his posts but haven't come across him for ages.
 
Sadly, you were alone in that and he is no longer with us.
