Skew for Thor 1W....

So with the reasonable weather yesterday i thought i'd trawl east along my lnb plate checking the strength of satellites. Eutelsat 10,9,7 and astra 4 had good signals with slight skew. Thought i would try Thor 1W as i'd been told i wouldnt have a great signal with just a 60cm dish in the Midlands (see photo elsewhere on here). Anyhow got a 75% quality signal but the skew was 90 degrees approximately with the lead from the lnb almost coming out level. (Icecrypt 0.2dB single LNB). Everything seemed okay until the rain started last night and the signal got wiped out so i'll be back along for astra 4 i reckon. Just wondered why i had to have so much skew? iIf i set up on astra4 etc the skew is back to what you would expect for astra 19 hotbird etc.
 
For normal LNBs, Skew would be near enough zero for Thor for a UK punter .............. but you have an Icecrypt!

Icecrypt and Fortec FSUKVN models are different in that the F connector is not at bottom dead-centre for zero skew.

And if that isn't the answer, and it's actually constructed "normally", then with the connector horizontal you've effectively still got zero skew but with the H and V dipoles reversed.
