Hi SatDum, that supplier is usually helpful if you purchased from them - judging from posts on the forum they sponsor they will give you the time of day if you phone them up. Not that I have any experience of them, as I bought mine from Germany when they first came out.
No special electronics knowlege needed to add a USB port; a pity they didn't carry through with the addition of one when they designed the TD - as I have mentioned in my Rough Guide, there is provision for a USB connector on the mainboard adjacent to the sys bus connection.
