That's correct, a phone line is not compulsory UNLESS the box is under a year old and bought on their discount scheme.

The box might miss a firmware upgrade but should sort itself out once reconnected to a working dish. An update can be forced if needed - come back if you need it and don't know how.

The card might be OK but if not it normally revives after a night in the card slot of a working receiver.
 
The card usually de activates after about 4 weeks of no use and comes back on after about 4 hours.

I believe that period is 6 weeks.

We don't have contact numbers on the forum. If all information is discussed off forum, then it is only of benefit to a single person, whereas, if it is on the forum for all to see, then it benefits all.

Unfortunately magou123 hasn't been a member long enough to send PMs. This privilege isn't given straight away to new members as it has been abused in the past.

Any new member having a legitimate reason to make a PM simply has to ask. An Admin can then change the authorisation to allow this.
