did this channel start broadcasting, if it did do you have the frequency, thanks
 
you will have to wait a bit longer...it does not launch until 1st Feb 2011!

Test transmissions will probably start the last week of January.
 
The way its being advertised its sounds like its being launched in SD & HD.

Can anyone confirm this?

If its HD Only then another Sky TV rip off........get rid of Bravo and then be so kind to give us a new free replacement channel....but you have to get HD to watch it.
 
Latest scan picked up two channels with the EPG propagated with Sky Atlantic data.

4712 - Freq:12285000 V, SR:27500, FEC:2/3, Res:1920x1080
4714 - Freq:11469230 H, SR:27500, FEC:2/3, Res:1920x1080

No video though!

There is no definite proof these are Sky Atlantic - neither are carrying any epg info accessible to a dreambox. :D

4714 is running at 720*576 not 1920*1080 :D

I will admit there is *something* behind 4714 as the pids are active, but its not accessible to my 6 mix level of sub.

From the DS forum by any chance? - from a poster looking for glory but using illogical guesswork :D

Indicative?? I can shoot any number of holes in the logic behind that claim that 4712 / 4 are the two Sky Atlantic channels especially as no-one else has seen the claimed epg on either of them.

4712 is also a SD channel not a HD channel (I can see it on my SD only Dreambox) - and its also running at 720*576, so its most unlikely to be Sky Atlantic HD.

Id rather keep Channel One. Having had a look at the Sky Atlantic programme list theres NOTHING on there to attract me or the other half to it.
