sky box office dreambox PPV

DreamBox 800
Original Sky Dish
My Location

i have a DM800 and have ordered the WWE match which is now showing on repeats.

When i put the sky card in my orginal sky box it comes up and i can watch.

But when i use the dreambox all other channels work apart from PPV

I can see the PPV channel as the EPG data shows whats on but theres just a blank screen.

I have tried changing the PIDS/VIDS from kingofsats website with no luck.

As anyone else got this working ?!?!? :-Nooo
 
I haven't looked at it with any interest mate as I'd normally use an alternative method to get sly box office (Not via satellite), however its pretty safe to say the problem is with the PID settings. If I get any further on this I'll be sure to post it.

Have you tried this one:-

Sly Box Office Events
12070 H
SR 27500
FEC 2/3
SID = 4906
VPID = 2336
APID = 2337
 
Im wanting to watch the Hatton fight on the dreambox. I have done a complete scan of 282 East. Can Someone tell me which channnel Sky Box Office channel 743 is in my list in Dreambox Edit. I take it its one of the Data channels just dont know which one. Thanks in hope
 
i would like to get the skyboxoffice events on my DM800.
I already changed the type of them to TV and now I see the channels with EPG but with blank screen.
Any news on how to get the skyboxoffice channels running?

i am having the same problem, can anyone please HELP!!!! i have tried everything...and i have given up
 
I do not think anyone can help as Sky do not want you watching PPV programs on anything other than their equipment and is there really any incentive for people to spend their own time finding a solution?
Once the new white card counter measures are implemeted it may prove totally impossible anyhow.
 
Everything that sly sends out is receivable on a Dreambox. You've got off to a good start by changing the channel type to TV, however don't miss one obvious factor. You're trying to receive a PPV channel, if you bought the item it will clear. If you did not buy it it won't clear, simple as.

Pay for them :D

They wont clear unless you have paid for whatever movie / event is on at a time.

Wasn't sure of that point B16 thanks for correcting me, of course I was assuming they had ordered the PPV to begin with :cool: rather presumptious of me apparently

Np mate, it seems some people , even those with a little Dreambox experience , still expect it to decrypt channels when they haven't payed for them.

sure i pay for them but the question is that the previews on skyboxoffice must be available also if you not paid yet.

I should think thats a yes. But you'll need to find the correct transponder info and PIDs.

Gentlemen,
with Enigma 1 boxes ...you have virtually no chance for sky box office. Enigma 2 boxes, no problem at all
