sky + box use abroad

Hi

Can I use a sky + box abroad ( in Spain ) as a free to view and would I need a card?

if its still your first year then no, but if youve had the box for over a year then it might be possible. in the first year it needs to be plugged into a telephone line.

Sky+ with FTV card means that you can't record anything. But the regular channels will work as long as the card's valid.

You can most likely get away with only one connection to the LNB too.

Sky+ with full sub works perfectly across the water ;)

....depending where in Spain on the plain he is of course ;)
