Sky Channels Missing

Hi

I have Panasonic Sky Digibox - TU DSB 40. The problem is that following some free to air sky channels like 104,105,108,159,423,501,507,789,799,884 does not appear on my All Channels List.

When I go to add channels, add frequency of these channels , the channels names are shown there but when on come to main channels menu or All Channel List , above channels (104,105,108,159,423,501,507,789,799,884 )do not disappear.

Why it do not appear on my Channel List or main menu?

How can I edit these channels in All Channels list with their numbers?

Please let me know the procedure

Pull the plug out of the wall, leave for 30 seconds then plug it in again.

Its not possible to edit the sky epg, so this is the ONLY way to reset the epg. "Add Channels" does NOT add them to the epg stream! - it just allows you to watch tests of the epg.

104 105 108 are not FTA, annd only appear if you have a valid sky card in (subscription or ftv card)

Now a question. Where are you and how big a dish are you using - there are several things that could cause OBE & Golf channel not to appear.
 
I agree, I have had this ,you can recieve lots of fta stuff like bbc1234 etc without a valid sly card so if your card is the old one ie not a yellow house card this may be the reason...
Try this it may help..
Treat it as a new installation...
with an active channel on say 101
press services
4.system setup
then being quick press 0 1 select
this will take you into a secerate menu named installer setup
6 new installation
select and select and it will do a search for all available channels...

Some pannies require a forced download to update the EPG software to 3.5.3
as outdated software can cause various glitches etc, also a previous update could be corrupted.
worth a try.
 
I don't know about the other channels but if you don't have a card in the slot of your Panny then 104 and 105 don't appear on the channel list. If a validcard is put in and then removed then they do appear but you get a message saying that you need to upgrade your subscription.

Do you run your Panny without a card?
 
ive got a crappy grundig box that does the same.. forced downloads done about 4 times rectified it.. my problem was much bigger aswell. say i press 104 and the channel would be missing.. *would show red banner).

At work we just swap the box for a new one.. as its more trouble than its worth to mess with crappy sky boxes..

Again, are you using the box with or without a card?
