Sky Decoder - audio output

Hi

I have sky digital decoder for viewing sky channels on Asrta .

I want to connect my power speakers having headphone jack with audio system of this sky receiver but there is no headphone jack in this receiver. Only one AV and two Scart options are available.

Please advise me that

a) How can I connect these power speakers with my Sky Receiver ?

B) On tesco, Curry or Comet is there any device which convert audio from AV or scart to headphone jack so that power speakers may workable with this Sky decoder .

Also refer me please any photo or link in this respect if any

Looking forward an expeditious and urgent please.

The rear panel has red and white cinch audio outputs. Get an appropriate cable (cinch plugs to headphone socket) and plug your speakers into this.

You are right that the rear panel has red and white cinch audio outputs. Ok I connect it with cinch plugs at one end i.e with the rear panel audio out puts but where i connect the other end of these cinch plugs coz I have headpohone pin of speakers not socket where I connect the other end of cinch plugs that is problem....
 
Sounds like you either need a different cable, or a gennder converter. Try you local Comet / Currys - they stock all sorts of useful converters
 
Argos also - usefully - do a cheap-ish range of audio connect cables, and of course Maplin (more expensive).

I had to look up "cinch" (!), am more used to the older name of "RCA" connector!

The audio output is supposedly set at "zero level" - nominally .775v rms into 600 Ohm - but if too loud/soft, of course you can adjust the level on Sky digibox services menu.
 
Cinch is a term commonly used for RCA in continental Europe much as Peritel is for Scart.
