Sky HD from North Cyprus

Hi,
I am living in famagusta Cyprus and I want to know if its possible to watch SKY HD from here.

Yes it is, providing that you have the appropriately sized dish and two feeds from it. There are several members on the forum who either have Sky HD or have installed HD receivers on Cyprus.

SKY HD is possible and being used in Cyprus..
Out of 12 HD channels 10 can be received with a 1.8m offset dish wihout problems..
 
Thank you for the quick reply. Another quick question than. I will use my computer as a sattelite receiver under the Tv unit. It will give me endless posibilities and highest quality on the Full HD LCD TV.
I have DVB-S2 card installed in my PC. As far as I know DVB-S2 is capable to receive HD channel and all the TV channels will move from S1 to S2 system. Can I use my DVB-S2 card to receive Sky HD broadcast? Or Should I have to had Sky HD Box?

You need a SKY HD box and a subscription from SKY to watch SKY HD channels.
 
Thanks again. I though after subscription from SKY, I could use Card Interface (if available) on my computer to get the benefit of HD on my computer.
Thanks anyway...
 
Are Sky still charging 10 quid a month to watch HD?
