Advice Needed Sky+hd interference on one transponder

A few weeks ago I started to get severe pixelation or total signal loss on all channels that are on the same transponder. I've proved that it's being caused by interference from a local mobile phone mast by temporarily raising up a small sheet of aluminium on the end of a long pole and placing it near the LNB so as to block any signals from the mast. When I did that, all the affected channels came back up perfectly again.
My question is, what can I do about it? The dish is about seven years old. Is it possible to get a better shielded more up to date LNB? Relocating the dish in my case is not an option.
 
Which channels are affected? Some Inverto LNBs claim they are "importantly engineered to mitigate interferences from 4G/LTE transmissions" such as the IDLH-QDL410-HMPRO-OPN. Would need a 40mm LNB adapter to mount to a minidish.
 
Thanks for the quick reply. I've just noticed that the problem is on two transponders (Astra 2G transponders 97 and 98).
There are quite a few TV channels on those transponders that I watch quite regularly (not including Babestation :cool: ).
I also rely on some of the radio channels as DAB reception is very poor around here, but they're all broken up and unlistenable.
I assume that all LNB's are enclosed in metal casings and not plastic. Is that true?
My other point is, does the owner of the mast have a legal duty to prevent stray interference? If so, I wouldn't really know where to start.
I've tried the Ofcom and BBC websites but they're not taking phone calls and there's not even an email address. The only way to contact them is by letter and I've got a feeling that I'd probably be wasting my time even if I did send one. It's very frustrating.
 
LNB innards are enclosed in metal.. apart from the feed horn entry point where the signal enters. As to who is responsible if you can find out who owns the mast you could try them for assistance, however they do have license to broadcast on the frequencies which are causing you trouble, which in this case are in the 1800mhz band so legally I don't think you have much to stand on. You could try Sky, you wouldn't be the 1st person to have such issues. Have a whinge about cancelling if they don't wish to help or try to charge.

The beam from the sat is very narrow, so is there any chance you could make and fit an aluminium "shield" (even a cut down drinks can might work!) to the arm on the dish (very close to the LNB holder) to provide the same sort of interference suppression that you got with the one you held up on that long pole??
