Does any one know if the sky+ tuner units are sensitive enough to work in the Costa del Sol for example?

I have seen it reported that the $ly plus boxes, especially the latest ones, are quite sensitive and extremely useful for low signal areas.

if you can get a signal with an old Pace 2200, you'll see an improvement with a V2 Pace Sky+ box. I am not *totally* fringe but my signal strength/power is about 10-15% better on my V2 Sky+ than my old 2200 - and they're on the same dish, LNB, similar cables.

Sky Plus V1 and a 90 CM offset dish with dual LNB in South Tenerife - working fine (No Astra D as 2.4M dish required)

SKY + ver 2 Box

On 4.2m in Nicosia, Cyprus - no problems - working 24/7 on BBC /ITV - not just 10832 ( London) - but 10931 Meridian, Yorks, Anglia etc.

Observation: latest SKY+ boxes showing inferior fringe area reception - think tuner from 2600 has been replaced by that from DS430N. Only gut feeling but now def. inferior to Pace mini box / 2600... wasn't before :-((
