Further east in Kavala a 1.40m loses some of the weaker ones, so a 1.80m offset is recommended for all frequencies. Alexandroupoli close to the turkish border seems to have similar level of signal. In Athens further south most of the frequencies come on 1.20m quite well but others are very weak. Most of the time a 1.80m offset should make it but last summer on 2 3m solid ones there was signal loss because of the heat. Very surprising conditions we have in Chania further south. It looks like the signal is a little stronger than in Athens. There 1.80m offset could bring permanently reception on the full package.</p><p>Conclusion: Around Greece (also in eastern parts) a 1.20m Offset brings most of the frequencies on the screen but not all.</p><p></p><p>Hope that they will move all to Hotbird 7A and 8 which won't carry a Superbeam anymore.
