My Satellite Setup
Fixed dish pointing at Hotbird 13 deg, using a
Technomate 1500 CI+. various spares to fall back on.
My Location
North West
A freind of mine is going to the Algarve on holiday and wants to be able to watch Sky's FTA programmes, from his mobile home. What size dish would he need? He is mainly interested in the 5 terrestrial channels, more than that would be a bonus!
Any info gratefully received.

sorry guys, a 1.3 simply not good enought as you are likely to loose channels in the evening after 6.30pm this is due to satellite drift and the weaker signal, a 1.4 prime focus dish with a 0.3 invacom LNB will solve all your problem
good luck

My Satellite Setup
DM800HD, DM7000 80GB HD with Asus WL330 wifi + 2GB usb drive, Skystar2.3, 2.2m Kinhuge Dish with Inverto LNB and Invacom ADF-120 feedhorn. Pace 1.3.25 and 80cm for Sky.
My Location
Lot, Dordogne, Correze border.
I wonder if a 1.4m dish is that much better than a 1.3m
