sky plus hd problems??

hi all, just joined the forum and wondered if any of you kind folk might be able to help me with a problem? i am in spain at the moment in my motorhome and have a 1 mtr dish set up with a pace javelin 1000 sky box working perfectly. the problem is when i connect a amstrad drx 890 hd box it doesnt see any signal even after changing the default transponder. i am using only a single lnb at the moment so am i missing something?? thanks in advance, all the best sean
 
I don't have a $ly HD box but I believe that you can alter the setup so that it "knows" there is only one cable fitted. I'm also assuming that you have your connection to LNB1 not LNB2.

Also, if the HD box has been disconneced for a while it might have missed an over-the-air software update. If it's missed a few this could certainly cause problems.
 
Single feed mode on for lnb1 under services, settings, picture, 01 select. Worth checking as mentioned.
 
thanks for the reply satelliteman but i've tried that and still no joy.... any other tips or does it look like a duff box?
