Hi All,

I saw on ebay that someone selling their Sky+ receiver and has the following extra information in the listing:

Q. Will my existing Sky card work with this new Sky+ receiver?
A. Yes. A quick phone call to sky and they will enable your viewing card to work in the new receiver - and it will not cost you anything if you have the Sky "Family Pack" or higher.

I guess the "Family Pack" would be the same as the 6 mixes these days.

Does it mean that you no longer need to pay the extra £10 (€15 in Ireland) for the recording option?

Can anyone confirm if this is correct?

i think its free if you subscribe to sports or movies, if not then its £10 a month,check their web site
 
The thing about Sky+ that everone likes, is recording one channel while watching another....
if you buy this Digibox you will need to change your dish/lnb to be able to do this...
otherwise you will have to watch what you record :(
