sky + recording black & white

hi i have just got sky +,i only have 1 cable run at the moment,when i pause the tv and resume it,it plays in black and white.

If i put it back in real time the colour comes back.

I have also tried to record a film but this is recorded in black & white.

anyone got any ideas

no ive tried the same tv in different avs and rf out,still the same,
ill try on a dif tv tomorrow

i have no other problems with this tv?

have you got any idea why it works on another tv,does it think im trying to record sky or something?

What's your TV? Is it possible to change the setup so that the Scart connector is set to PAL rather than Auto?
