We have sky sat and have recently been given a 2nd receiver box. Is there a way up setting the 2nd box up to receive free channels only like cbeebies on to a 2nd tv. We dont actually want multi room just a few free kids prog like freeview/free to air?.the receivers plugged in buts not receiving a sat ignal. any advise welcomed

Yes just get yourself a twin lnb and some ct100 cable with two F connectors self amalgamating tape and replace the existing lnb with the new one run the 2nd output to the 2nd receiver. You will receive the FTA channels only.

If you do not do it this way and attempt to use the loopthrough then you will have limitations when watching the 2nd receiver as whatever polarisation the first is on the 2nd will only receive channels on that polarisation.
