Hi, I have sky plus fitted and my old sky box upstairs. I have just bought a 2nd sky+ box from fleabay. Will I be able to use this by just changing it for my old box (not a sky+ box)

Yep, just run another cable from the spare LNB output and have a mirror subscription set up on the second + box and you'll be sorted... :)
 
thanks for the reply, but being as thick as 2 short planks. Is a mirror subscription what I already have as in able to watch the same upstairs as down for £10 a month?
 
Yes, as long as both boxes are connected to the phone line, you will just have to ring Sky and activate the recording facility and pair the card to the box.
