Help Required Sky signal

Hi

We had the roof done today and it seem like the builders may have accidently touched the dish.

I do not get any channels Inc BBC One. The snr is shown as 65%, acg as 85 and ber as 0. Does this mean the dish need alignment or could it be something else.

If builders have been working close to the dish its odds on its been knocked.

Howevere try pulling the plug out the wall, waiting a couple of minutes & rebooting it. You may get lucky, although those signal reading suggest you are picking up one of the other satellites.
 
Thanks. Tapped it a bit with a long Broom and is has started working. Need to get the dish changed as it is very old.

If it ain't broke ................

When you can get close up to it, just coat the swivel bolts with WD40 and later on nip up and tweak them a little tighter.

Ha. Wish I could just do that with my big Channel Master to improve 2E/2F.
 
Useful things brooms. I used one to clear the snow away from the LNB today to get 2A south back...
