i have sky+ feeding 4 extra tvs via a distribution system.2 of these tvs have
a tv eye on and work fine, they have done for the last 18 months.however
when i added a 3rd tv eye they have all stopped working. They have red power
indicators on and they all light up.I removed the 3rd eye and the other 2 still do not work.
i have done a full system reset and reactivated the rf outlet on the sky+ box.
could this be a voltage problem and is there a limit to the number of tv eyes
you can have on one system.any help to get this solved would be very welcome, even if i could just get the 2 original ones going, that would be something,
thank you

What type of amplifier are you using, is it one which is powered by the digibox?

yes the ampllifer is powered by the digibox, its a global communications f140.
The tv eyes all have led lite up,i have 1 tv eye working and 2 that don,t.

is there enough voltage from the digibox to power all 3 tv eyes or would i need
a powered model, any help/recommendations would be most welcome.
all connections are screw in type so would,nt want to change them.

You can use a 12v power supply on the global amp, may well solve your problems. :)

As long as it is TV link compatible, there are other choices as well.

I think that there are several types, usually use the global ones myself, but only because they have F connectors, don't think there is much difference between the competition.
