Sky Uk EPG soon available on E2 boxes

Nabilosat Team will soon release version 0.6 of its images for DM800 and DM7025 which include the possibility to download the EPG and have it integrated to Enigma2.

Nabilosat E2 Black Hole v0.6 is now available for DM800, and will soon be available for DM7025 too.
All you have to do to download the weekly EPG of Sky UK is complete the simple setup ( 2x Blue, Nabilo E2 EPG ) and then zap to Hip Hop radio channel. Wait for the On Screen info to inform about the download completion. That is all. It takes less than 2 minutes.
You can also choose what channels EPG to download, and what channels to exclude.

Hello,

Just wanted to let you know, that it is finally possible to get a proper Sky EPG on the DM800 (7025 and 8000 as well so all Enigma2 boxes) using the python scripts provided by Ambrosa.

The script decodes OpenTV data from the transponder and converts it to an ext.epg.dat file.

The script had a few bugs but do run very smoothly now.

Check the installation information carefully.

If you plan on using the EPG on the DM800, you have to modifiy one of the script modules as there are still some bugs and your DM800 might not execute the script and pop up an error. This is due to the fact that some Dreamboxes store their service information in lamedb as UTF Encoded, others in ISO Format. You'll find more info here:

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong. I do the 2x Blue, Nabilo E2 EPG, then select uk channels but it says i need to zap to hip hip radio. How do I do this and when?? I have probably missed something really simple here.

hip hop is in your radio channels press your radio button then choose satellite astra 28.2 and it should be in your list if not scan frequency 11.778 v, 27500 2/3 this will do the trick

Thanks for the help. I have hip hop radio on my list. Am I doing this correctly? When I have selected UK Channels from the E2 epg addon I get a message to say "a valid stream is required zap to hip hop", I then press ok and then exit, exit, exit to get back to tv then press the radio button selecting hip hop and just leave it?? The post near the top says a count down timer will tell you the progress, I dont seem to get anything on screen to say it is doing anything.

go to nabilo e2 epg in settings, blue button twice, then press red button to select settings, make sure the first three setting say yes (scroll from no) refresh epg every day at (choose your own time i use 6am so it does not interupt viewing on a night.
then scroll to channel to get epg hip hop uk save settings. go into menu, set up, expert mode, customize, change alternative radio mode to yes. done now go to hip hop radio channel on 28.2 it should then say found channels dont turn over ,when done go back to normal viewing

Thanks, works perfectly now, it was the last setting made all the difference - "change alternative radio mode to yes"

A few people including myself were having problems with getting all the data from the Hip Hop channel, there is a thread about it on the image web site.

If you open your settings in Dreamboxedit 3 and look for a data channel called IEPG data 1 and change this from data to tv you will find that it populates the epg with a lot more. I created a favourite named EPG and just dropped the channel into it and when i want to update just zap to it now.
