Dont bother aligning to 28.5E unless you want numerous shopping & god squad channels.... Over half of 2.8.5E was hijacked by SES last October - and the remaining dozen or so tp's will move to SES craft later in the year.
 
Omg so many satellite changes happening!! Btw is it possible to have 19,2 also on my dish?? The satellite guy told me that is hard to do but his face was telling me that he's bored.

Yes its easily done if you have enough signal from 19E. many of us run offset lnb's, and its fairly easy to set up if you can safely reach your dish.
 
Since my 4.2 dish is prime focus i have to buy an extention of 10 degrees and attach it to the base of invacom lnb??

Guys why do u think we will lose all the sky channels when astra 2G is launched and working?? From what ses provides as footprint it looks that i will be able to get more than i do now with 2A?? It looks like 2G's footprint is a bit closer to me?? Thanks!

The new satellites generally have tighter footprints so we are just guessing things will be worse. It no one will know for sure until the satellite is up and running. Also we don't know how many channels will use the 2G Europe beam. In theory 2E and 2F could still take more channels.
 
Lets see what we can get by then!! Lets hope it increases signal to all of us!!

The footprint seems to be better,here north western Greece we will be at the highest power beam but Athens is out of coverage.it is insane,in straight line we are about 200km away.so it is impossible to even guess.hope for the better

we wish like astra 2a
 
Depends somewhat where the nulls and side lobes fall too, tricky to know on a shaped beam until it's switched on.
