i have a std sky package
my card is register in uk
if i buy a sky+ box from ebay
can i just plug it in use the recording bit
i can have a quad lnb and run a 2 cable to the box

IIRC In a word no it will not work

Basically,put card in sky+ box,then call sky to transfer card to sky+ box.
