Hi
Here's a frequency list for Astra2/Eurobird1,
_http://www.lyngsat.com/28east.html
All the FTA ones have a 'F' in column 5

For a channel list look here.
_http://www.ftasat.co.uk/
I think it's more or less up to date.

No disrespect meant, but everyone always says look at Lyngsat. Am I alone in thinking Lyngsat does not give the info in a form most useful?

What I want is a list of SKY channels as they appear on the EPG, but giving in each case:

1. Freq
2. Polarisation
3. Symbol Rate
4. FEC
5. Satellite (2A, 2B, 2C, 2D)
6. Whether is FTA

Does anyone know a website where this is given in (OK Layman's) such a format?

Thanks,
Geoff

In the Lyngsat link that was given, click on the Sky UK button P and you would get the whole Packge or use this link

http://www.lyngsat.com/packages/skyuk.html

It gives all the information 1-6 except 5
For 5 you can click on each satellite in the 28.2E to see which channels are located in that particular satellite.

http://www.lyngsat.com/europe.html

If you are still not happy with Lyngsat, then I really don't know what to say.

This list gives you the channels in an easier form _http://www.flysat.com/tv-uk.php

There are other places

here

or

here

It is really a matter of preference, but why something so specific.
Are you wanting to input a channel list or something?

One excellent feature of the Lyngsat pages is that each channel shown (almost) has a link to the website of the specific channel for further information.

Here's a spread sheet with the channels in Alphabetical order.
