SKYBOX F5S

What about the rest of the menu?
What are the main headings?
Do you have the option for a manual scan and have you tried scanning the frequency provided by Analoguesat, 10714 H 22000 DVB-S?

Installation antenna
Satalite list
Antenna set up
Single sat search
Multi sat search
TP list
LNB power

Hang on let me fire up my F3 and have a look at the menu items - its been a few weeks since Ive used it.

No problem Robert - we will get there eventually :D

Ignore installation antenna - thats for motorised setups.
In antenna setup you should have something like this. If you dont you will need to "activate" the 28E position by ticking it in satellite list

Ignore the satellite position & disecq 1.2 - this was used on a multi lnb set up on a 16 way switch. The most important one is the lnb settings

Once you have "activated" the 28E slot on the receiver you can add a transponder in "TP List"

If theres nothing there press green and add 10714H 22000 saving the changes. The screenshot happens to be for Azersat at 46E but the principle is the same

If you are set up correctly the SI & SQ bars will light up - this receiver isnt connected to a dish atm so there no signal on it.

Are you 100% sure you have screwed the lnb cable into the LNB IN socket & not the LNB OUT, (its easy to get the wrong one) and there are no wisps of outer copper braid touching the inner solid conductor?

Its always worth unscrewing the connector from the receiver, unscrewing the connector from the cable and make sure its making good electrical contact with the outer braid, and there are no strands around the inner conductor

As a test, screw the lnb cable back into the old box (what type of box is your old box?) and report if this gives a signal on the signal strength screen, preferably with a photo.

Excellent - really pleased to hear you are sorted, and thanks for letting us know.

You know where we are if you need any more advice :)
