Skybox issues

My Satellite Setup
Virgin media with sky dish on building
My Location
Glasgow
Received my skybox f5 and having absolutely no luck with it. Keeps saying no signal, this is only strange as I tested my friends skybox a week earlier and found no issues at all.

Any help would be great
 
Which satellite & do you have a big enough dish?

I guess you are going for Sky UK - with a "gift" by any chance

Yeah you got it. Skyuk. Always says no signal. Can't get it to read. Got 78% on my friends when I tried it.
 
If you know your dish is ok then the connection or the box is faulty
 
And I presume you have an illegal card share gift on it. Dont expect it to run for too much longer - Sky UK are tightening up their encryption again.
 
I'll check all connections. I'm a audio engineer so unlikely to be the connections but you never know.

You reckon it won't last much longer?
 
Might last a week might last a year.

And now I shall close this thread as we do not permit discussions of these illegal card share operations on this forum.

Any other satellite related questions are fine and we will be glad to help, but for problems with this receiver you will need to take it up with your supplier.
