Skystar2 locked or dead?

I bought a skystar 2 off ebay (in eon box) ,it worked for tv decodeing etc fine for 3 days then It stopped. All I get is the red no signal icon ,I cant lock to any channels. I know the sinal works as I tested it with a receiver. Is this a symptom of locking ? or broken ?

Sounds like a locked card, there is a link on an earlier thread with the unlock file, but must stress that you use this at you own risk.
