I'm trying to uncover that strange quirk of Mother nature that makes it incredibly difficult to get kids out of bed on a school day yet gets them up at 6.30 or earlier at the weekend, despite going to bed later the night before.
I know the feeling, We have a 2 year old daughter who goes to nursery twice a week. On nursery days we have to wake her up and if left would no doubt sleep until lunch time yet on any other day and especially at weekend when I could do with a lay in she is awake at 5.30 am and bouncing up and down on our bed !!!
Don't worry, by the time they reach their teens they won't be able to get out of bed till at least 2.00pm at the weekend and CERTAINLY won't want to be seen with their parents either.
