True to forum tradition virtual snow is/was falling on the forum and a holly sprig or candy stick on members avatars.

All depending if your logged in or not

Getting in the chrissy mood now:)

Well done mods:-applause

Being a bit of a "bore", TBH, I could do without the virtual snowflakes! ATM, we have enough of the "real stuff"!
OTOH, "clap hands" for the Staff for "innovation" ;)

You only get the snowflakes if not logged in AFAIKS, also candy stick on avatar :-rofl2:-ohcrap

No snowflakes but a sprig of holly on avatar if logged in :rolleyes:

Here we have 34 cm snow temp -9 and lasting until February when the sun returns :-lol

Let me know when "Christmas" is over .........

Oh, in that case ...... :-irish

Fortunately no falling snow for me as I believe it sucks up too many processor cycles. But as for the rest - kudos.

Yes looks good for me snowflakes when logged out and none when logged in but holly on the corner of the avatar and a bit of a snow drift on the top blue panel and a santa hat, well done @chris, does not hog valuable resources this way

I'm seeing slightly different effects: snowflakes falling on the "Recent Posts" page but none when in this particular thread, what looks like a red & white striped sugar "walking stick " in the corner of my avatar instead of holly - and no sign of a santa hat, but maybe that's a "Staff benefit"!:)

PS: No objection to the snowflakes, was just mentioning that not all of us seem to be seeing the same things :)

Depends on what style you have selected on the forum. The flakes only work on Default Style and not the full one.
@CJ
Didn't know about that, but found the Styles option and changed it to the full one - will be interested to "see what changes".
