Snow is falling on forum ( virtual )

True to forum tradition virtual snow is/was falling on the forum and a holly sprig or candy stick on members avatars.

All depending if your logged in or not

You only get the snowflakes if not logged in AFAIKS, also candy stick on avatar

No snowflakes but a sprig of holly on avatar if logged in


Here we have 34 cm snow temp -9 and lasting until February when the sun returns

Yes looks good for me snowflakes when logged out and none when logged in but holly on the corner of the avatar and a bit of a snow drift on the top blue panel and a santa hat, well done @chris, does not hog valuable resources this way

I'm seeing slightly different effects: snowflakes falling on the "Recent Posts" page but none when in this particular thread, what looks like a red & white striped sugar "walking stick " in the corner of my avatar instead of holly - and no sign of a santa hat, but maybe that's a "Staff benefit"!

PS: No objection to the snowflakes, was just mentioning that not all of us seem to be seeing the same things

Depends on what style you have selected on the forum. The flakes only work on Default Style and not the full one.

Didn't know about that, but found the Styles option and changed it to the full one - will be interested to "see what changes".
