You have a bright pass (-2.8) tomorrow morning VS . It will come out of eclipse at 0554 at an altitude of 44 degrees & and set in the south east 10 degrees above the horizon.

You cant miss the bright passes - its a very bright star travelling reasonably quickly across the sky

It moves across the sky at a similar speed to a distant airliner
My grateful thanks AS ..
No clear view above and behind my house ..which is South facing to the rear ..so a good chance I'll get to see it as it travels South and East away from me ..but will presumably emerge from behind my property ..as I stand with my back to it facing South ...

If the skies are clear ..I shall indeed be setting my alarm clock for 5:30 AM

If you enjoy seeing the space station - there are DOZENS of bright satellites to look out for - one of my faves is Envisat which is a distinct orangy colour :)

You could always get the ladders out and perch yourself behind your young lady (only if you've braced her well enough of course)

....Oh well ...
..Ill just finish my mug of tea ...then get back in bed for a few hours..

As usual the weather forcasters have it completely wrong ..
I went to bed with freezing temperatures and starry skies....and awoke at 5:15 to thick cloud cover and relatively warm..
Hope wherever you are you have better luck ..
This is almost personal now between me and the man upstairs ..
Every time there is something worth seeing in the firmament...he dumps thick cloud on me..
cest la vie
