2,200 on line at the moment, the pages are a little slower loading, but not that bad, taking 3 to 5 seconds for a new thread/section, but otherwise still pretty quick.:)

It is varying between 2-3 seconds and over 30 seconds. Must be the cold weather slowing down the speed of electrical pulses down the lines:-doh! .
Or perhaps I should see if I have any gremlins (mamsters) lurking in my computer. I shall have to erradicate them if I find any.
:-boom :-mamster

I'm definitely having a problem with thumbnails as well. It seems to have been a problem for about a week or so.

For a start I don't see any thumbnail pictures in the "Attached Thumbnails" box. On Rolf's posting there are 4 dishes which, when I click on them, bring up new windows. However on Marts' post there isn't anything in the "Attached Thumbnails" box to click on at all. All the other posts that I've seen with supposed thumbnails appear to be like Marts with nothing in.

Any idea what's going on?

IE6 Rolf.

Just noticed something else. By carefully moving the cursor over the left hand side of the "Attached Thumbnails" box I can get a pointing finger which brings up a new window. Whatever is there is only about a pixel and seems to be background colour.

I had something similar Paul a couple of weeks back.
Zonealarm went screwy and produced much the same result.

Just in case

I also noticed the board running veeeeery slow about an hour ago. Seems oK now.

Well, I use ZomeAlarm Pro and it does have its foibles but I can see thumbnails on other sites that have them... Firefox, keep meaning to but am ultimately lazy. If it ain't broke - don't fix it. Don't think it's broke enough yet.

Still a little bit slow when editing or posting etc, however prior to that I cannot say as BTYahoo would not connect for 5 hours until 19.30 hours today, help line said general network failure

I think the net generally has been funny today.
There are people posting everywhere saying similar.
Still getting the odd 30-40 sec delay
