I thought it might be a fish keepnet (or a noshbag), but really I'm stumped.

Best guess is some kind of sieve for fish.
 
SOme sort of carrying frame, but for what I havent the foggiest idea.
 
Could it be a fishing creel? An image search produces similar looking items...
