Punters with cash in bookies, place bets on six dogs in usual way, all bets are sent back through to central system for compiling, in the ten seconds before the 'race'
Once the total odds are computed, the video with the best outcome for the bookies is loaded into the VCR for transmission
Im sure this is how they do the UK Lottery as well (virtual sets, presenters and machines)
