there was a warning on max digital website not to use this version because it was not final.
today, there is a final version on max digital forum.

I've tested this new firmware and it is excellent for me.
I used to get pretty random ECM times when using a usb hub (that's why I removed it), and now the ECMs are constant averaging around 110ms on my total tv card with usb hub.
When using smargo directly in a USB port, the ecms are the same as with the previous version - around 155ms.

Very strange, the update is no longer available on the manufacturer web site. I downloaded it this morning but now it's "coming soon". A problem with it????

If you have a max digital smargo, go to the official max digital forum and download the new firmware.

There are lots of users with Smargo clones that will not work with this update reliably.

That would explain why the manufacturer took the update offline.
